The Blooming Grove Fire Department Since 1941, the Blooming Grove Fire Department has been providing citizens with professional Fire, Rescue, and Emergency Medical Services.  Today, we continue our proud tradition of service to the community.  Approximately 70 men and women provide 24 hours a day, 365 days a year Fire Suppression, Rescue, and Emergency Medical Services. The Town of Blooming Grove is located in central Dane County, Wisconsin and borders the City of Madison to the West, Village of McFarland and Town of Dunn to the South, Town of Cottage Grove to the East, and the City of Madison and Town of Burke to the North.  Our emergency response covers urban, suburban, and rural areas. The Blooming Grove Fire Department is a combination department consisting of five paid staff, six interns, and 60 volunteer Firefighters, Paramedics, and EMTs.  A Firefighter has many different opportunities to become active in the department, from extrication training and competitions to public education activities.
